今日のトピック

《単語は大事！》

少しずつではありますが、繰り返し理解を深めていくうちに、問題が解きやすくなってきたような…。

しかしまた新たな課題が。。。

気づいたら、私、知っている単語の種類が少ないかも…！！文法が理解していくと同時に、

単語の意味を知っていかないと、根本的に、アレレ？これは何？ってなりますね(;'∀')

日常的に使う天気や曜日や食べ物なんかから覚えるといいかもしれませんね！

次の①～⑤を聞く疑問文を作りなさい。

　　Ann was listening to music with the family in the room at that time.

　 (アンはその時部屋で家族と一緒に音楽を聴いていた。)

米澤先生の今日のお勉強

今日は過去進行形を勉強します。

　　　次の２つの英文を比べてみてください。

　　　He walked in the park yesterday. 　　　 (彼は昨日公園を散歩した。)

　　　He was walking in the park at that time.（彼はその時公園をさん歩いていた。)

　　　どこが違うでしょうか。

ヨッシー「前の文は『散歩した』という終わってしまったことですが、後の文は

　　　　『その時散歩していた』というしていたことを言っている気がします。」

　　　　よくできました。

　　　　過去形の前の文は特定の過去の時点でのできごとを表していますが、

　　　　後の文は過去のその時まだ終わらないで進行中のできごとを示しています。

　　　　これが過去進行形です。

　　　　　I ,３人称単数　　　 was / (be) V- ing

You, ２人以上　　　were/(be) V-ing

　 (～していた)

　　　　「て」と「た」に注目してください。

　

　　　　「て」と「た」があったら過去進行形と考えてほぼ間違いがないです。

　　　　　そして文の後ろにはthen（その時,at that time（その時）, when ~（～の時）

　　　　　などの特定の過去に時点を示す文が続きます。

　　　　　He was walking in the park at that time.(彼はその時散歩をしていた。)

He was walking in the park when I saw him.（私は彼に会った時、彼は公園を散歩していた。）

　　　　では　次の文の疑問文、否定文を作ってみてください。

　　　　　We were watching TV at that time. (私たちはその時テレビを見ていた。)

ヨッシー「よーし、やります。では最初に、疑問文です。

　　　　　Were you watching TV at that time? (あなたたちはその時テレビをみていましたか。)

Yes, we were./ No, we weren’t. （はい、見ていました。いいえ、見ていませんでした。）

　　　　　否定文です。

　　　　　We weren’t watching TV at that time. (私たちはその時テレビを見ていませんでした。)」

　　　　よくできましたね。疑問文、否定文にはもう不安はありません。

　　　　では５W１Hをやってみましょう。

　　　　　We were watching with my friends in the living room at that time.

ヨッシー「はい、やってみます。

　　　　　　　Who は３人称単数だから、was になるので、、

　

1. 　Who was watching TV with the friends in the living room at that time?

（誰がその時居間で友達とテレビを見ていましたか。）

2. 　We were watching what with the friends in the living room at that time.

Were you watching what with the friends in the living room at that time?

　　　　 →　What were you watching with the friends in the living room at that time?

　　　　　　　（あなたはその時友達と居間で何を見ていましたか。）

3. 　We were watching TV with who in the living room at that time.

Were you watching TV with who in the living room at that time?

　　　　　→　Who were you watching TV with in the living room at that time?

　　　　　　　（あなたはその時居間で誰とテレビを見ていましたか。）

4. 　We were watching TV with the friends where at that time.

Where you watching TV with the friends where at that time?

　　　 →　Where were you watching TV with the friends at that time?

　　　　　　　（あなたはどこで友達とテレビをみていましたか。）」

　　　　よくできました。

　　　　では、動作を聞く疑問文はどうですか。

　

We were watching TV with the friends in the living room at that time.

ヨッシー「うーん、ちょっとムズイです。

　

　　　　　現在進行形のときは　is, are, am / doing whatだったから、過去進行形のときは

　　　　　Was ,were/ doing whatですか？」

　　　　　ご名答です。それで動作を聞く疑問文をつくってみてください。

ヨッシー「わかりました。

　　　　We were doing what in the living room at that time.

Were you doing what in the living room at that time?

　　→ What were you doing in the living room at that time?

(その時居間であなたは友達と何をしていましたか。)」

　　　よくできました。

　　　現在進行形の形から過去進行形を類推していった点がすばらしかったです。
